A whopping 11,800 volunteers came together for United Way of King County’s Day of Caring on September 19. After giving their time at 533 sites throughout King County – from creating birthday bags for kids that are homeless to transforming community centers with cleaning and painting – hundreds celebrated at United Way’s After-Party at Seattle Center. Special thanks to AT&T and Microsoft as the lead sponsors of Day of Caring (more than half the volunteers were from Microsoft!).
