The Met Pages Best Dressed: January–Congratulations to William Hutchinson who was spotted with the Mariner Moose at the Hutch Award Luncheon!
On January 29, the annual Hutch Award Luncheon was held at Safeco Field. Because of your generosity and the incredible $150,000 challenge gift from Peter and Peggy Horvitz and the Harrelson Family, record-breaking gross proceeds of more than $580,000 were raised for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. The program featured the 50th Hutch Award recipient, Alex Gordon of the Kansas City Royals, as well as Hall of Famer Dave Winfield. The Hutch Award is given annually to an MLB player who best exemplifies the honor, courage and dedication of legendary baseball player and manager, Fred Hutchinson.
