Over 250 fashionistas gathered at Pacific Place on Thursday, September 6, to celebrate Seattle’s inaugural large-scale fashion show Downtown Seattle Rocks the Runway, a celebration of international event Fashion’s Night Out. Fashion show retailers included Alhambra, Baby & Co., Eileen Fisher, The Finerie, Karan Dannenberg Clothier, Macy’s, Mario’s, Nordstrom, Oska, Sandylew, True Religion Brand Jeans, and Barneys New York. Gene Juarez Salons provided makeup for models and all hair styling was by Seven Salon. VIP guests lounged on lush furniture from Roche Bobois as they sipped Skinnygirl cocktails and O Wines. They also indulged in appetizers from Pacific Place restaurateurs Thai Ginger, Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, Pike Place Chowder, Johnny Rockets, Mexico Cantina y Cocina, Wasabi at Pnk Restaurant & Ultra Lounge, and Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana. Poison Waters emceed the night filled with fashion, food, and fun. Net proceeds from ticket sales will fund college tuition for young women through the O Wines for Success Scholarship Program.
