SPD’s SWAT, Vice, Arson/Bomb, Internet Crimes Against Children, Narcotics, Evidence, and Traffic units, along with the Washington State Crime Lab, have been working in the dark since about 9:30 am this morning.
Seattle City Light spokesman Scott Thomsen says about 3,000 Seattle City Light customers in South Seattle lost power this morning after a “pad mount switch” blew.
City workers restored power to most customers earlier today, but SPD’s facility near Airport Way S and S Holgate has been in the dark all day.
Thomsen says power at the facility should be restored shortly.
