Mariners Home Opener: Ballpark Beers, Free Ice Cream, and More

Sport some Mariners pride and Cupcake Royale will give you ice cream.

 The weather is supposed to hold for tonight’s home opener against the Houston Lastros. If you’ve got tickets, come hungry. Here’s what you should be eating. And drinking. Also, Washington Beer Blog’s Kendall Jones put together a most comprehensive guide to drinking beer at Safeco, from where to find the good stuff (Silver City, Fremont, etc.) as well as the cheap stuff ($5 Miller Lites, heyo). 

Additionally, stop into any Cupcake Royale location around town sporting a Mariners hat, jersey, or other publicly visible apparel and you’ll get a free scoop of ice cream. Well, technically the Madrona and West Seattle locations don’t scoop, so there you’ll get a free ice cream sandwich. Any other Mariners-related deals happening out there?
