French Fry Heaven Is Still in Limbo

The restaurant wholly dedicated to French fries is still coming to Southcenter Mall. It's just a little late.

Last month I wrote about a chain called French Fry Heaven—a magical place where the appetizer, entree, and dessert menus consist entirely of twice-fried potatoes. Excitement ensued.

Rest assured, it’s coming to Southcenter Mall in Tukwila. It’s just not coming quite as quickly as promised.

The original opening date was supposed to be this past Friday, November 15. I received notes from a few readers that they were denied entry into heaven over the weekend because the restaurant is not yet open.

I checked in with a rep, who said that the franchisee had a permit delay, a pretty common occurrence in the world of restaurant openings. So there’s no updated projection for opening day quite yet, but rest assured that we on the front lines of journalism will continue to pursue this most important matter.

Until then, have a look at the French Fry Heaven menu and decide which of the 50-odd sauces (and resultant combos) rings your bell.
