‘War Horse’ Tickets Go On Sale November 18

The Tony Award winner trots into town in February.

The WWI drama ‘War Horse’ gallops into the hearts of theater lovers.

Avenue Q may have made it cool for puppets to be on Broadway, but War Horse turned theatrical puppeteering into fine art, a spectacle unto itself. The story of Joey, an enlisted horse caught in the crossfire of the Western Front, and his young owner Albert, who embarks on a journey to find his beloved steed, comes to life thanks to the stunning life-sized horse puppets engineered by the Handspring Puppet Company. War Horse won six Tony Awards in 2011, including best play and a special Tony award for the South African puppet company, an also spawned last year’s Steven Spielberg-helmed feature film that earned six Oscar nominations. War Horse trots into town for a two-week run at the Paramount in February, so avoid the box office stampede by getting tickets early.

War Horse tickets go on sale Sunday, November 18 at 10am. Tickets will be available at stgpresents.org, tickets.org, Ticketmaster locations, or by phone at 877-784-4849. Tickets start at $24.
