‘The Phantom of the Opera’ and ‘Wicked’ Highlight the 2014-15 Broadway at the Paramount Season

The slate also features Beauty and the Beast, Dirty Dancing, and Pippin.

The Phantom of the Opera returns to the stage as part of the 2014-15 Broadway at the Paramount season.

Familiar names and stories comprise the 2014-15 Broadway at the Paramount lineup, ranging from Lloyd Webber and Rogers and Hammerstein to the Grinch and the Wicked Witch of the West. The core season features The Phantom of the Opera, Pippin, Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! the Musical, and Dirty Dancing, with the ever-popular Wicked and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast being season option shows for subscribers.

Family friendly fare kicks things off as Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Oct 21–26) and the perfectly timed Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! the Musical (Dec 2–7) both arrive before 2015. The new year starts out with the newest show in the lineup, Dirty Dancing (Jan 20–Feb 1, 2015), before transitioning to the time honored old guard of Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Feb 24–Mar 1, 2015) and The Phantom of the Opera (Apr 30–May 10, 2015). The smash hit Wicked (July 8–Aug 2, 2015) swings through Seattle next summer, and then the season concludes with Pippin (Aug 18–23, 2015).

Season and group tickets are on sale now on Seattle Theatre Group’s website at stgpresents.org/Broadway. Individual show tickets will go on sale at a later date.
