Taylor Swift Comes to CenturyLink Field Next Summer

Tickets for the pop superstar's 1989 tour go on sale Friday, November 21.

The reigning queen of pop heads to CenturyLink Field next summer.

Taylor Swift sells records. That may seem like a stupidly obvious statement, but that’s not a thing anybody does anymore. During its first week on sale in October, her new album 1989 sold 1.287 million copies. That’s mind-boggling in today’s music industry. It’s the biggest debut week since Eminem’s The Eminem Show in 2002 (when Swift was 12 years old). By its second week it had more than doubled the sales of the next highest-selling album released in 2014, Sam Smith’s In the Lonely Hour (~750,000 units moved). More staggeringly, 1989 accounted for 22 percent of all albums sold during its first week. Needless to say, we expect Swift play to a sold out CenturyLink Field when her 1989 World Tour heads to Seattle on August 8, 2015.

Tickets for Taylor Swift at CenturyLink Field go on sale to the public on Friday, November 21 at 10am via Ticketmaster.com and cost $55–$196.
