Fund the Arts with GiveBIG on May 6

The yearly nonprofit fundraising day helps organizations get more bang for you donation buck.

Quick Culture Fiend reminder: It’s time once again for GiveBIG, one of the biggest days of the year for Seattle nonprofits, including many beloved arts organizations. Any donations made tomorrow (May 6) through the GiveBIG website will result in a prorated portion of said donation being matched via the Seattle Foundation’s pool of funds. The process is fairly straightforward and is illustrated in four simple steps on the website. There are 1,600 local charities taking part in GiveBIG, so your favorite arts oranization is probably participating. These organizations can’t continue to improve the city’s artistic and cultural landscape without help from donors, so get out and give.
