Chris Cornell Goes Acoustic at Benaroya Hall

Soundgarden's singer strips down his back catalog for an intimate acoustic show in October.

Chris Cornell, circa 2013 and fully clothed.

Chris Cornell possesses the vocal power to cut through any hard rock backing. He proved he can still rock with the best of them at Soundgarden’s sold out Paramount gigs in February, and now he’s giving fans a chance to experience his music in a softer setting where his voice can soar without obstruction. On October 20, Cornell will perform a solo acoustic show at Benaroya Hall. Expect plenty Soundgarden and Audioslave songs, as well as tunes his solo records. He might even throw in a cover or two for fun.

Tickets go on sale on this Friday, August 16 at 10am through benaroyahall.org or by phone at 206-215-4747. Ticket prices range from $49 to $126.
