The view from Fielding Hills.

Fielding Hills

Owners Mike and Karen Wade started Fielding Hills in Wenatchee in 2000 before moving to Chelan in 2014. Fruit for their big, ripe reds comes from the winery’s estate vineyard on the Wahluke Slope, with their patio and lawn offering commanding views of Lake Chelan.

Cairdeas Winery

Cairdeas (pronounced car-diss) focuses on Rhône-inspired white and red wines, sourcing fruit from the Royal Slope and Yakima Valley. But some of its most impressive releases are grown in the Lake Chelan appellation. A new building is in construction, but the patio with views of the lake already awaits.

Nefarious Cellars

This wife and husband winemaking team splits responsibilities: Heather Neff makes the nimble whites and her husband Dean the fruit-filled reds. The grapes are a mixture of Columbia Valley and estate fruit from the adjacent vineyard as well as nearby, aptly named Rocky Mother. The lake views from on high, right by Fielding Hills, literally elevate the experience.
