About Dawson & Deveraux:
Being a woman is many things, but if I had to give a definition, I think it would come from the contrast and juxtaposition of my life rather than similitudes. Originally from the East African nation of
Mauritius, having trained with master craftsmen from The United States and France, and being an artist, wife and mother, my design aesthetic and perspective is both global and relatable. Additionally,
Dawson & Deveraux’s signature style is a play on femininity with classic silhouettes juxtaposed to our innovative combinations of textiles and textures. The result is a woman that feels as elegant and timeless as she does progressive and bold.
“D&D strives to capture both how a woman sees herself and all that she aspires to become.”
