The Seattle Symphony 2017–2018 season opened with a spectacular concert featuring renowned soprano Renée Fleming performing with Associate Conductor Pablo Rus Broseta and the orchestra. The Opening Night Gala honored local icons Leslie and Dale Chihuly for their significant contributions to the Symphony and the Seattle community. The Gala raised over $1.7 million in support of the Symphony’s mission of bringing people together and lifting the human spirit through the power of music. The Symphony thanks this year’s event committee, attendees, sponsors and donors for helping make the event a truly inspirational start to the new season.
