The James Beard Foundation’s Taste America tour made a stop at the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle on September 26. Three hundred guests experienced a dynamic reception with culinary offerings from James Beard Award winners Maria Hines and Jason Wilson, and a stellar lineup of local chefs. The dinner menu was created by James Beard Award winners Tom Douglas and Marc Murphy of New York City’s Benchmarc Restaurants, with Host Chef Kerry Sear. Presenting sponsor Chase Sapphire Preferred® Visa Signature® helped JBF bring the best of the best to food lovers in Seattle, with a portion of proceeds going to establish a Taste America scholarship for culinary students in Washington.
