On August 1, Two Union Square was packed with talking plants, jugglers, free form acrobats that scaled the walls of the plaza, and an exhilarating Fall designer fashion show for Shine a Light, the BUTCH BLUM 40th Anniversary gala. Guests were treated to a whiskey tasting, martinis, beer and wine, and a sumptuous array of appetizers. The evening, co-sponsored by Washington Holdings, Minuteman Press, and Seattle Met, culminated with the lighting of Butch Blum's new corner sign.
