Leather took center stage at EMP Museum for the grand opening celebration of Worn to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket on October 20. Hundreds of guests packed EMP’s Sky Church for Project Leather, a runway show featuring fashions by Northwest designers Carole McClellan, Aykut Ozen, Ms. Wood, Stone Crow Designs, Ruki by Melanie Parr, and Pierre Davis. Following the show, guests checked out EMP’s exhibit showcasing the ultimate uniform of cool: leather jackets from popular music, television, films, and fashion. Worn to be Wild is presented by the Harley-Davidson Museum in partnership with EMP.
