Cowabunga will bring together farmers and ranchers from across the Pacific Northwest, accompanied by Seattle Met’s food editor’s top-pick restaurants, chefs, distillers, brewers, winemakers, and beef lovin’ readers for a weekend of celebrating America’s favorite livestock.

In partnership with Amazon, Visit Seattle, and Washington Beef Farmers & Ranchers, Cowabunga will take over South Lake Union for day tastings, demos, chef competitions, evening marquee events, and a family-friendly Sunday Brunch, all in support of Seattle Theatre Group.

Burger Bash

Friday 11/10: 6:30 – 9:30 PM (VIPs at 5:30 PM – Negroni Social)

Location: Troy Block – 300 Boren Ave. N Entrance on Fairview

It’s patty time! A showcase of the city’s best-between-a-bun, Seattle’s chefs will serve up sliders stacked with Snake River Farms Wagyu and battle it out for 2017’s Best Burger title. Featuring live stand-up the ultimate fry bar.

 

Cowabunga—Day Tastings, Workshops, Demos, and Chef Competitions

The Big Tent presented by Washington Beef Farmers & Ranchers

Location: 410 Terry Ave. N

Featuring the best beef bites from around the region, Washington State Wines, seasonal brews, live chef demos, DIY rubs and marinades, and Saturday’s No Cow Left Behind Competition.

 

The Little Calf Tent

Location: 550 Terry Ave. N

Ice cream, cheese, yogurt, chocolate, and udderly delicious delights, paired with Washington wines, plus Ellenos Parfait Bar, gooey grilled cheese bites, and Sunday’s I-Scream Scoop Competition.

 

Seared

Saturday 11/11: 7:30 –10:30 PM (VIPs at 7 PM)

Location: Troy Block – 300 Boren Ave. N Entrance on Harrison

It’s the year of the steak house, and Saturday night’s marquee event will encompass America’s favorite dining experience! Guests will enjoy an evening of extravagance complete with the best beef bites, a dessert competition of reinvented American classics, and live music. The grand finale: a late-night burlesque show brought to you by House of Gorejess.

 

Cowabunga — Family-Friendly Day  

Sunday Brunch + The Big Tent & The Little Calf Tent (Day 2)

Sunday 11/12: 11 AM – 2 PM (VIPs at 10:30 AM)

Location: Troy Block – 300 Boren Ave.

A one-of-a-kind family funday and celebration of the city’s best brunch, featuring a breakfast-in-bed photo booth, lawn games, live music, and access to all the tastings, demos, and competitions happening in the Big Tent and Little Calf Tent!
