Jessica Tousignant, a staff member at Brian McCracken and Dana Tough’s restaurant The Coterie Room, was recently diagnosed with advanced breast cancer, and Anne Magoon, who manages the restaurant and its around-the-corner sibling Spur, has organized a benefit in her honor Sunday night, August 5.

Magoon, McCracken and Tough have reached out to assorted chef friends, hoping to show Tousignant and the rest of us a good time as they help her cover her medical bills.

Attendees can enjoy small bites from Spur, The Coterie Room, Tavern Law, Cafe Presse, Le Pichet, Crush, Ethan Stowell Restaurants, et al, and wash them down with wines imported by Vinum, Hillard’s beer, and (naturally) cocktails.

Those interested in helping further can participate in a silent auction and raffle featuring gift certificates, cookbook sets, foodcentric gift baskets, dinner packages, and more.

Tickets for the 7-11pm event go for $45, and whether or not you’ve had the privilege of enjoying Tousignant’s hospitality at the Coterie Room in the past (she has been there since the restaurant opened last year), don't hesitate to go enjoy all the good food, and support this very worthy cause.
