Dr. Tredway is a board-certified (ABNS), fellowship trained neurosurgeon specializing in spinal neurosurgery. He has specific expertise in minimally invasive spine procedures and has published several articles on these techniques and patient outcomes. His clinical interests also include spinal cord tumors, metastatic disease of the spine, spinal cord injury, spondylolisthesis and complex deformity surgery. He was the first surgeon in Washington state to perform cervical spine artificial discs and has trained hundreds of fellow surgeons on the technique.
Dr. Tredway completed his neurosurgery residency at Rush University Medical Center and then completed a fellowship in minimally invasive and complex spinal neurosurgery at the University of Chicago. He has 13+ years of experience in neurosurgery in the Seattle area. He is the past president of the Washington State Association of Neurological Surgeons and was also recognized as a Top Doctor by Seattle Met magazine.
