Dr. Casterella is an experienced, board-certified cardiologist who treats a broad range of cardiac conditions including coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and genetic defects of the heart. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He completed his residency at Naval Hospital Oakland and his fellowship training at Naval Medical Center San Diego in general cardiology and at Scripps Clinic in interventional cardiology.
