Break out your stretchy pants, because from September 27-29, you’re invited to South Lake Union’s Discovery Center lawn for Seattle’s biggest and best food and drink festival. Attendees can expect a weekend chock-full of eating, entertainment and all-around good times, plus free parking at select SLU locations. Through a partnership with Washington State Beef, participating chefs will be serving up decadent cuts of Snake River Farms American Wagyu and MacDonald Meat’s Certified Angus. A true meat lover’s fantasy! Just make sure to save room for premier Washington wines, cocktails, ACME ice-cream, cheese, fries, cake, and other gourmet delights.

Some of the region’s best culinary artists and restaurants will be on hand to demonstrate their gastronomic arts throughout the weekend, including James Beard Award Nominee and Food & Wine Best New Chef, Jay Blackinton of Hogstone and ÆLDER on Orcas Island, Raymond Southern of the soon-to-open Kingfish, Addo’s Eric Rivera, Jason Aldous of Friday Harbor House and Charles Celestial of Japonessa. Our incredible line-up deosn’t stop there! Check out hot pop-up star Tiffany Ran with BaBa Lio and Seattle favorite Jack Timmons of Jack’s BBQ. We’ve also got Ben Jones of Alderbrook Resort, and Kyle Brierley of Briley’s BBQ…and so much more!

Whet your whistle with a brew or two courtesy of Pike Brewing Company, Peroni Brewery, and Montucky Cold Snacks. An incredible array of exquisite Washington state wines expertly paired with Dairy Farmers of Washington local cheese selections will please your more refined sensibilities on Friday night. We’ve also got a bevy of craft cocktail offerings prepared with Bulleit Bourbon, Johnnie Walker, Ketel One Vodka, Bailey’s Irish Cream, Jack Daniel’s, Campari and other tantalizing spirits.

Need to take a break from all the eating and drinking? You’re in luck! Kick back and enjoy musical entertainment from @BTwoTimes, Indie soul grooves of @FlyMoonRoyalty Brett Benton, DJ Strange Babes and burlesque on Saturday night! As if you need any other reason to join the fun, Cowabunga ticket sales benefit Seattle Theatre Group, who helps create enriching experiences in the arts, engage diverse communities and steward historic theatres.
