Bring your dessert outdoors with one of Hot Cakes' S'mores Kits this National S'mores Day.

Calling all chocoholics and campfire fiends: The annual food holiday of smoky sweetness is back. National S’mores Day is on August 10, a day to sharpen your roasting twigs and hone your toasting technique for a most dynamic trio of marshmallow, chocolate, and graham cracker bonded with the woodland camping ethos of our Pacific Northwest.

Without further ado, here are five places for you finger-licking s’mores lovers.

Theo Chocolate

Make it a two-day celebration this Thursday and Friday at the Fremont factory, where you can sink your sweet tooth into grilled-to-order s’mores for $5 while Theo Chocolate donates $1 of each purchase to Pearl Jam’s Vitalogy Foundation to help fight homelessness. Thus, a Theo peanut butter cup atop handcrafted graham and 'mallow impacts far more than your taste buds.

Shelter Lounge

Free s’mores until your tired little roasting wrists simply can’t hold up any longer! Ballard boasts many hidden gems, but this one is particularly for the s’mores-loving Seattleite. Head to their rooftop and surround yourself with lounge chairs, cocktails, and your pals. But, better yet, get to their fire pit and nab complimentary s’mores-making supplies alongside the purchase of your entree.

Indi Chocolate

Talk about turning up the heat. If you’re really dedicated to the dessert game, be one of the first 10 graham and marshmallow lovers to arrive at this Pike Place chocolatier by 5pm for an evening celebration of National S'mores Day. Even if you miss out on the free goodies, snag a homemade s’more for $5, and you’ll automatically be entered to win a giveaway for two tickets to their Chocolate 101 tasting class.

Hot Cakes

Drake may have dropped another chart-topping album, but Hot Cakes just blessed us with a S’mores Kit for $18, so who’s the real MVP? The kit features a dozen homemade graham crackers, a bar of smoked chocolate (for the full campfire effect, of course) and six homemade marshmallows. If that’s not enough, opt for their other s’mores variations of molten cake, cookies, candy bars, or hot cocoa. Oh, and even though it’s not listed on the menu, a fresh roasted s’more is available upon request at both the Capitol Hill and Ballard havens of molten chocolate.

Molly Moons

Like the ex-bae you haven’t seen in a year who suddenly reappears once you’ve shown off your summer bod, the seasonal s’mores flavor of August 2017 returns once more, just in time to try to cool things off and smooth things over. The combo of smoked salt, torched marshmallows, and graham cracker crust is available at all three Seattle locations, taking a cooler, creamier twist on the traditionally campfire-warmed treat.
