The new storefront, mighty both in its space as well as doughnuts.

Big, glorious rings of cake doughnuts need not have egg or dairy to be mighty satisfying. See: Mighty-O Donuts. Co-owners Ryan Kellner and Megan Helmer live in this truth, and it's been clearly working thus far. Mighty-O Donuts has been steadily growing and now adds a fourth location, landing in the Denny Regrade at 1812 Boren Avenue.

The new space will be ample, with plenty of seating—sit with some Caffe Vita and a few doughnuts, perhaps Coffee Bomb, Raspberry Riot, or French Toast flavors. While coffee and baked goods will remain Mighty-O staples, Kellner says this location, which is very much in the land of Amazonia, will add casual grab-and-go items from Molly's, like salads and sandwiches, plus Puget Sound Kombucha, beer, wine, and cider, all of which are local and in line with the cafe's sustainability ethos.

Ever in expansion mode, Kellner adds, "We're still looking for the next one." But for now, nab some doughtnuts paired with Washington cider at the latest Mighty-O Donuts.
