Beer and Yoga at Cloudburst Brewing
Downward dog with the hair of the dog at this brewery beside Pike Place Market on Western Ave. The morning begins with an hour long, all levels yoga session at 10am. Afterwards replenish yourself with some of Cloudburst’s whimsical brews like their Market Fresh saison of blood orange and hibiscus or a smoked oatmeal stout christened Dumpster Fire. Tickets start at $20.

As is tradition at this point, the Queen Anne restaurant will once again change up its usual menu for an April Fool’s Day popup. This time LloydMartin is going vegetarian with chef Sam Crannell preparing a multicourse dinner full of local, seasonal ingredients. Reservations for this one-off popup are highly recommended.

VegFest 2017
For all the veg-heads out there, this one’s for you: a food festival dedicated to the mostly plant-based diet. The 17th annual vegetarian fest will be at Seattle Center, where a $9 ticket is the only thing between you and 500 samples of meat-free bites, plus cooking demos, nutrition seminars, swag bags, and free health screenings because that is the world we live in now.

Spring’s arrival means a multicourse spread of lamb dishes at Ethan Stowell’s Belltown restaurant. On the docket: lamb tartare, pickled lamb heart, pappardelle with smoked lamb neck, Calabrian chili–brined lamb leg, and a rhubarb crostata for dessert. The 6pm dinner is $85 per person; call Tavolàta to reserve your spot.

Surrell Dinners Popup with Matthews Winery at Whisk
Across the pond, in Bellevue that is, a winemaker’s dinner is a-coming. Chef Aaron Tekulve will create a six-course meal of Pacific Northwest–sourced ingredients to go with wines from the Woodinville-based winery Matthews. The dinner, which is from 6 to 9, includes crispy duck egg with spring vegetables, Wagyu beef short rib tartare, roasted lamb, and more.
