Student fashion designers from a number of local Seattle college design programs are participating in the Goodwill Design Challenge tomorrow (Friday, September 23), with tickets still left for purchase! Watch a fantastic runway show that includes their upcycled fashions as they compete for prizes, as well as an audience participation portion called "the No-Sew Refashion Contest" for a chance to win prizes.
In the past, the Design Challenge was actually part of Seattle Goodwill's Glitter Gala Fashion Show. This year, however, and by popular demand, it is a judged runway event, with the top ranking designers going onto display their work on the Glitter Gala runway.
NO-SEW REFASHION CONTEST:
Those who weren't students but still wanted to participate, pre-registered for the "No-Sew Refashion Contest." Entrants have thirty minutes before the Design Challenge runway show to create their own upcycled fashion using office supplies and raw materials provided by Goodwill.
WHEN: Friday, September 23, 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
WHERE: Seattle Goodwill Outlet, 1765 6th Ave. S, Seattle, WA 98134
