Eden Hill Seasonal Vegetable Dinner
In a nod to the season’s bounty, Eden Hill’s regular menu will give way to a six-course vegetarian tasting menu Wednesday, from 5 to 10. The culinary walk through Mother Nature includes a smoked watermelon crudo with watermelon rind kimchi and grilled peanut, a mascarpone risotto with morels, cured lemon, and grilled herb broth, and the meal ends with a poached apple—local of course–with brandy and ginger froth. Dinner is $80 per person.

Garage Toasts to 20 Years with a Month-Long Celebration
Marking its 20th year on Capitol Hill, this bowling and billiards spot is going all out with beer, live music, and food off the grill—proving once and for all that summer birthday parties are the undisputed best. The entire month, Garage will have all drafts for just $2.50 all day and all night. And you best try the summer berliner weisse, brewed by Georgetown Brewing especially for this momentous milestone. Every Tuesday, there will be live music on the patio from 5 to 8. And lastly, plenty of food hot off the outdoor grill; think lamb kebabs, bahn mi, and more.

The Beer Junction Celebrates Six Years of Beers
How do you commemorate years of beering in West Seattle? More beer. Specifically an anniversary IPA named Brontosaurus Supernova brewed by Cloudburst Brewery. Beer brewed by Steve Luke is certainly enough cause for intrigue, beer wrapped in label full of dinosaurs with laser eyes in a Tron-like environment and floating galaxy hops radiating a kryptonite-green hue is a must-drink. Try it on tap at their release party starting Friday from 11am to 10pm, and then take some for the road too.

Rose and Blossom Popup Bakery
Tarik Abdullah, a Hillman City–based chef (formerly of Cichetti), will be at Capitol Hill’s Refresh Frozen Desserts and Espresso this Sunday for his Moroccan-inspired popup bakery. After returning from North Africa, Abdullah couldn’t get sweets he tried off his mind. So, from 5 to 9, stop in for his creations that are likely imbued with the titular rose water and orange blossom.

Republic Is Throwing a 6th Anniversary Party
Also turning six is a certain South Lake Union restaurant. Prep your Fourth of July liver at Republic with food and live music on their outdoor side stage. Said music starts at 8 and is provided by Black Whales and The Dusty 45’s. Tickets are $10.
