Raconteur
The folks behind the Flying Squirrel pizzerias have joined forces with Third Place Books to open Raconteur this Saturday. Coffee, cocktails at the all-day bar, and a menu that has everything from tacos to moussaka and waffles on the weekend promises the perfect spot to drop in any time of the day. Opening day guest appearances include Tom Douglas, Kate Lebo, and much more.

A joint project between owners of Ayutthaya and Momiji will see the old Bauhaus space turned into a new Thai food spot, according to Capitol Hill SeattleSugar Hill is slated to open in August, and aims to be a "bar-focused eatery featuring Thai street-style food."

Irashai
The Admiral District is getting a new Japanese restaurant, reports West Seattle Blog. There doesn't seem to be too many details on the ex-Mawadda Cafe space, but remodeling permit files suggest plans to install a sushi bar.
