The South Sound Spirits Gathering
No, it’s not a yoga retreat in a state forest—though if that’s your thing, namaste. But it is a great reason to get out of the city and drink local spirits from 18 of Washington’s distilleries at the Olympic Flight Museum in Tumwater. The South Sound Spirits Gathering this Saturday runs from 4 to 9 and offers bites from nearby eateries and sips from the likes of Heritage Distilling, Captive Spirits Big Gin, 3 Howls, and more. Tickets are $40.

Hama Hama Farm Days
It's kind of like going apple picking, but requires waterproof knee boots, garden tools, and a love for that salty low-tide aroma. The Hama Hama farm off of Hood Canal is opening its beach to the public this Saturday from noon to 3; think Hama Hama, Blue Pool, or Sea Cow oysters at your sandy finger tips. Though a shellfish license isn't required, an RSVP for your group is a must and days are already beginning to fill up... If you miss out this weekend, there's still Saturdays, April 9 and 23. See the Hama Hama Farm Days event page for details.
