An American in Paris is a must-see for the choreography alone.

Those that find joy in new theatrical discoveries are in luck. The just announced 2016–17 Broadway at the Paramount season features four fresh shows that have never graced a Seattle stage. Tony and Grammy winner Beautiful: The Carole King Musical kicks things off in October with a dazzling collection of the singer-songwriter's classic tunes. Dance fans mark your calendars, as An American in Paris brings its stunning ballet-inspired, Tony-winning Christopher Wheeldon choreography to town in May. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, the 2015 Tony-winner for Best Play, closes out the season in July. Three other shows round out the slate: a theatrical adaptation of the Oscar-nominated Finding Neverland, The King and I (last year's Tony winner for Best Revival), and Roundabout Theatre Compnay's production of the classic Cabaret.

In addition to the main subscription lineup, the season options features some heavy hitters: Hedwig and the Angry, the 20th Anniversary Tour of Rent, and the Farewell Tour for Mamma Mia! (which closed its 14-year run on Broadway last August).

Broadway at the Paramount season subscriptions are on sale now at ticketmaster.com and run $189–$594.
