Pop into City Hall during your lunch hour for an educational moment with the Seattle Commission for People With Disabilities. The event is free, accessible, and provides ASL translators. BYOF.

'Alive Inside' Documents Music and Memory's Powerful Moments

Filmmaker Michael Rossato-Bennett follows social worker Dan Cohen, the founder of nonprofit Music and Memory, for one day to document a phenomenon he was witnessing in nursing homes. Cohen had discovered music’s profound ability to combat memory loss. Alive Inside documents Cohen's fight against a broken healthcare system and the effect of music on dementia patients and their loved ones, featuring interviews with experts including neurologist Oliver Sacks and musician Bobby McFerrin.

"Vote Roderick Road to the Primary" functions as an opportunity for folks to chat with him in person, and is free with RSVP. Roderick's got big ideas for the city—come see what all the ruckus is about.
