WHERE: Essenza in Fremont
WHAT: Like all of her biannual trunk shows, local jeweler Jamie Joseph's latest debut promises to be another popular occasion. (We're officially dubbing the local jeweler's loyal followers "Josephfiends.")
The latest luxury collection, called the Golden Joinery, features gemstones fused together with 22-karat gold in an homage to the traditional Japanese art of mending pottery, known as kintsugi. Joseph takes special care in her hand-picked, hand-cut gemstones, assuring each creation is different from the last. And this time around, the kintsugi method allows the designer to upcycle and rethink each piece, offering new and innovative forms to her repertoire.
WHEN: Stop by Essenza (expect it to be busy) on Saturday, November 14 from 11 to 7 for champagne, light bites, and the full lineup of these gorgeous gems.
