After 24 years as one of Seattle’s premiere art spaces, Grover/Thurston Gallery will cease operations on May 17. Before it bids farewell, the gallery goes out in style with exhibits by local artists Anne Siems and Terry Turrell. Siems presents tree portrait paintings inspired by rustic 1850s fashion and the majestic nurse logs and old-growth stumps she came across while on Northwest nature hikes, and Turrell showcases new sculptures. Anne Siems and Terry Turrell Apr 3–May 17, Grover/Thurston Gallery,
