Seattle's fashion scene is not having a moment, it's having a movement. One of the most powerful vessels leading the charge? The Bellevue Collection's Independent Designer Runway Show

A look from Wyatt Orr's 2013 IDRS runway collection via Bellevue Collection

With its Vogue magazine sponsorship, luxe location, and community and industry involvement, IDRS is not just a race to win the runway, it's an exercise in mentorship, a high-style presentation, and a true force.

What does it take to be a part of the city's best fashion design competition?

I'm glad you asked. As one of the Runway Show's panel members and judges, I'm especially keen to see the top local talent gear up for participation. If you or someone you know drapes, pins, tucks, sews, and sees with the eyes of the Next Big Thing, get them on over to the Bellevue Collection's Independent Designer Runway Show 2014 application now.

Submissions are open through March 15.
