Bring toys (the night's goal is 500 of them); his wish list has ideas of what to donate. There will be complimentary appetizers, holiday drinks like eggnog ($4), cider ($3), and punch ($2), and a casino night where top guests can win iPads, PS4s, and gift certificates.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12

Frank Sinatra’s 99th Birthday at Tini Bigs Lounge
It makes perfect sense that Lower Queen Anne’s longstanding cocktail lounge is celebrating Ol’ Blue Eyes this Friday with whiskey specials, live music, and a very Sinatra-esque menu. Bring your own Rat Pack to Tini Bigs for oysters Rockefeller, chop salad, veal Milanese and wash it down alla Frank with his classic 3-2-1: three rocks, two fingers of Jack Daniel’s, and a splash of water. Food from 4pm-midnight, drinks floweth till 2am, and Danny Quintero channeling the Sultan of Swoon from 7-9pm. Tini Bigs sister bar Hula Hula will be hosting a karaoke contest in honor of Sinatra in which the most worthy crooner wins a prize.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 15

From Seattle to the Cyclades Popup at Bloom Restaurant
Seattle native Joe Holberg is coming off a five-year stint cheffing on yachts and wants to share his travels via this Mediterranean-inspired menu. From Seattle to the Cyclades is a five-course prix fixe popup dinner featuring items such as grilled octopus with charred onion; trotters and hocks with quince and Aleppo pepper; and spiced sous vide lamb sirloin with celeriac puree and a carrot cardamom yogurt sauce. Dinner is $42 per person and reservations and payment must be made in advance here.

Bait Shop’s Birthday
It is the week of birthdays apparently and Linda Derschang's nautical Broadway faux dive is embracing its second year amidst all of the other holiday hoopla. Join in the merrymaking by eating $2 tacos, drinking $6 Painkillers, and singing surf-rock carols lifting even the Scroogiest of spirits. Also available for consumption of the icy treat variety: special edition frozen birthday cake beverage topped with sprinkles, whipped cream and, yes, a candle.
