Several Fremont boutiques have joined forces this year for Shop the Block, an evening event offering Black Friday worthy–savings a week early (meaning less traffic, less brawl risk, and a nice excuse to start shopping in advance).

There are also a bevy of neighborhood trunk shows and other retail happenings. We've rounded up all the reasons to head to Fremont for these early holiday deals on Thursday, November 20 from 4 to 9, with added events throughout the weekend.

Lambs Ear Shoes offers ten percent savings on all new arrivals.

Pipe and Row hosts a trunk show with jewelry from Fresh Tangerine and covetable accessories from Ampersand As Apostrophe—plus 25 percent off throughout the store. The store has giveaways, sips, snacks, and a bumpin' DJ set to sweeten the deal. After Thursday the store will still be offering 15 percent savings through December 1.

Essenza will have a selection of special holiday goodies as well as a 20 percent discount on loungewear and children's clothing.

Around the corner Les Amis offers 20 percent off all clothing, plus a trunk show of handmade leather bags from Alice Noon.

Shoppers at Portage Bay Goods will receive one free greeting card for every five they purchase. There will also be a special section full of discounted items for the evening.

Burnt Sugar and Frankie has a selection of shoes on sale in addition to 15 percent off all wallets. On Saturday, the boutique will host trunk shows with Wooden Ships Knit and Kincross cashmere

The Sweet Spot offers 15 percent off all retail products Thursday through Saturday.
