In response to the growing concern over a lack of affordable housing in Seattle, Mayor Murray has set up a Housing Affordability and Livability Advisory Committee to identify and evaluate policy options. PubliCola recently published one possible solution to the affordable housing problem, but we aren't elected to make those sort of high level decisions, so...

Ebola Relief Concert

When it comes to containing a massive health crisis, especially in less-developed regions, one of the most important assets is personnel: people willing to travel into the heart of the crisis in order to help save lives, often at the risk of their own. Doctors Without Borders continues to be an invaluable resource for organizing and dispatching these healthcare professionals.

Support DWB in their response to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa by attending Early Music Guild's Ebola Relief Concert. Hear compositions from greats such as Machaut, Landini, and Dufay, accompanied by readings and songs from West Africa. All donations benefit DWB and the Hope Project.

Ebola Relief Concert, Mon, Nov 24, 7:30pm, Town Hall Seattle, Town Hall, 1119 Eighth Ave, Free
