Bauman, in partnership with illustrator Grady Klein, recently released the second installment of hisCartoon Introduction book series. The Cartoon Introduction to Climate Change follows in the humurous and informative footsteps of The Cartoon Introduction to Economics, and touches on both the history of climate change and potentially beneficial policy changes.
Unspoken Angel Golf Invitational
Tessera, a local organization dedicated to creating opportunities for autistic adults, recently partnered with Seattle Children's hospital to turn their former headquarters into the Seattle Children’s Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Center. The center offers those suffering from Autistic Spectrum Disorders classes on life skills, health, and wellness, and social and recreational events.
The two-day Unspoken Angel Golf tournament has raised over $5 million for Tessera over the last 8 years, and hopes to continue to generate resources for the Adult Life Center.
