Big Night Northwest Style
The half circus, half restaurant Teatro ZinZanni is hosting “Love, Chaos, and Dinner”, inviting iconic Seattle chefs to join house chef Erik Carlson. The roster includes Tom Douglas, Holly Smith, and Ethan Stowell. Musical artists including Ann Wilson, Martha Davis, and Rachel DeShon will tip their hats in a musical tribute to Norman Durkee, Teatro ZinZanni's musical director and composer of 15 years. Matt Dillon's Georgetown spot welcomes special guest Patricia Wells, author of The French Kitchen Cookbook: Recipes and Lessons from Paris to Provence. This French food guru will be sharing reflections of her recent release with a family-style dinner featuring dishes inspired by the book. Coastal Region Scotch Dinner
The Old Sage in Capitol Hill brings you another scotch dinner, this time taking on the regions of Talisker and Oban. Beaujolais Nouveau at Bastille Café and Bar
Chef Jason Stoneburner is bringing you a Beaujolais Nouveau celebration at this Parisian-inspired restaurant in Ballard. Wine director and sommelier James Lechner and his crew will be pouring wines from France's Beaujolais region with pours, glasses, and carafes. Stoneburner will serve up a selection of charcuterie and Nouveau-inspired dishes.

The young wine celebration continues at this Madrona wine bar. Enjoy live music along with samples and tastings of fresh, new wines. And owner Henri Schock says you have to try Oregon Nouveau by Division Winemaking Company out of Portland—Bottlehouse is the only wine bar in Seattle to be serving it by the glass. Beer Church Beer Premiere
Buy a pint and benefit humanity. Washington Beer Blog's Kim and Kendall Jones also head up the organization Beer Church and are teaming up with three breweries to benefit the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. Come to Beveridge Place Pub at 6 to witness the premiere of these three hoppy creations from Airways Brewing Company, Georgetown Brewing, and Two Beers Brewing. Afterwards, each beer will be available at its brewery, as well as retail locations and bars around Seattle, and proceeds will still benefit the foundation.

Mustache Bash
Show off that killer 'stache you’ve grown this Movember and come to Pyramid Alehouse for the hairiest party of the night. Bring your best handlebar, goatee, or soul patch and try out in the mustache competition. A barbershop quartet will be there to chime away and food and beer specials will be available. James Sherrill, the new(ish) executive chef of this modern South Lake Union spot, will preparing five courses to pair with libations from Oola spirits and Odin beer. Oola's owner and distiller, Kirby Kallas-Lewis, will be there to share insights on the pairings—we wonder if the chili pepper or rosemary vodka will make an appearance. Tickets are $80. Ethan Stowell’s Macaroni and Cheese Cook-Off
What’s better than eating comfort food while benefiting a good cause? Absolutely nothing. Come to Ethan Stowell’s Tavolàta at 6 and try more than 100 different variations of this carb-o-masterpiece made by both chefs and amateurs, including Beecher's founder Kurt Dammeier, man about town Rocky Yeh, and, obviously, Stowell himself. Proceeds benefit the Fetal Hope Foundation. Tickets are $50 and available online.

Popular Portland chef John Gorham of Toro Bravo is visiting the Dahlia Lounge on Monday, December 2 to prepare a dinner reflecting his Spanish-inspired restaurant. Dishes from his new cookbook Toro Bravo: Stories. Recipes. No Bull will be featured in this four-course, family-style dinner, minus the two-hour waits usually required to dine at his restaurant.
