Liberty's Von Tassel's Baby cocktail gourd

Pumpkin has turned everything we drink (and eat, and see, and wear) spicy and gold. Not into pumpkin beer? We’ve rounded up a few boozy options to satisfy your squash beverage cravings.

The Most Literal:
pours its pumpkin cocktail, Von Tassel’s Baby, directly out of a pumpkin (see photo). This concoction blends Bacardi light rum, Clement six- and eight-year rhum agricole, BroVo Spirits Amari #6, allspice dram, pumpkin juice, Scrappy’s lemon bitters and simple syrup. For those who wish it was still summer, or who are just momentarily over pumpkin everything, Liberty is also tapping the Walter Melon: Attorney at Law cocktail out of a watermelon.

Two Fruits in One:
Seattle Cider Company
’s Pumpkin Spice Cider is available on draft and in 22-ounce bottles through the end of November. According to Seattle Cider Company’s spokeswoman, the cider is “fermented with cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and cloves… followed by just a touch of pumpkin.” The recommended pairing: Thanksgiving dinner. Find it on tap and in bottles at Chuck's Greenwood Hop Shop and the Beer Junction

Pumpkin, with a Side of Human Contact:
The BottleNeck Lounge will be pouring a variety of pumpkin-themed cocktails, including the new Calabaza Margarita, at its Teeny Tiny Pumpkin Fest on Saturday October 26. Doors open at 4pm, no cover charge. (Don’t worry, they have pumpkin beer on all three of their taps, too. And pumpkin soup.)
