When we last checked in with Hilliard's Adam Merkl he was gearing up for the release of the 12th Can, a pale ale dedicated to Seahawks fans. Eight weeks later—and with the Hawks now at a winning 7-1 for the season—we thought we'd ask: How many of those silver, white, and blue cans have you sold anyway?

Merkl: "Lots!" The brewery has committed to production of 300,000 cans this football season and are paced to sell out by the end of December or January.

Are we shocked? Not really. The tallboys are everywhere—QFC, Safeway, Whole Foods, PCC, and even Walmart—and the hashtag #the12thcan is all over Instagram and Twitter.  

The beer's not bad, either.
