2012 Avennia "Oliane" Sauvignon Blanc

So what do you think, Yashar, what should I drink tonight?

Right now I’m loving the newly released 2012 Avennia “Oliane” Sauvignon Blanc, with its intense grapefruit, fresh lemon, and hints of guava. Chill it in the fridge, then start enjoying it in the late afternoon. Watch the sunset and see how much the wine evolves as it warms. It gives you the crisp acidity of sauvignon blanc, so it's really refreshing. It’s barrel fermented and aged on the lees, which adds a lot of complexity and richness. The fruit comes from two of the top sites in the state, Boushey and Red Willow Vineyard, so you can’t go wrong.
