Tough work week? Forget about it! It’s Friday night, and these restaurants are calling your name.

Downtown’s Barolo has fresh ravioli of the day for $17. Try it with a bowl of Farro e Lenticchie, a spelt and lentil soup with organic spinach for $6.50. During happy hour (3–6:30 and 10pm–close), all bar food is half off. We recommend the $4 grilled Caesar salad and a glass of red or white rosé for $3.50.

Or check out Queen Anne newbie Emmer and Rye. There chef Seth Caswell is serving up Washington halibut with a salad of miners lettuce and locally grown black trumpet mushrooms, all arranged on a bed of roasted Brussels sprouts; $14 for a half portion, $28 for a full one. To drink, ask for the $8 glass of Airfield Estates, an un-oaked Chardonnay with a buttery flavor and a minimal woodsy flavor. Finish the night with a rhubarb semifreddo with almond tuile cookie; $4 for half, $8 otherwise.

At The Bohemian, where Old World meets West Seattle, the soup du jour is a curry red pepper bisque, a vegan soup that is so popular it’s become a house specialty. Slurp down the madras-style curry in a cup for $4 or bowl for $6. Next, order the lollichops, a grilled-to-order individual serving of New Zealand lamb chops cut from rack of lamb, topped with pickles and horseradish cream.You get two pieces for $12 or four pieces for $18. The other don’t-miss item is the white sangria; a glass is $4, and a carafe is $15.
