Betty embraces Fall…

…with a new seasonal menu debuting tonight.

Just got word that Betty, sister of Crow on Lower Queen Anne, is introducing its Fall menu tonight.

Here’s what you should order: Start with a frisse and poached egg salad with house-cured bacon for $10-$12, or grilled sardines served with a fennel salad. Then work your way into the risotto with grilled prawn and fried kale and squash, and save room for the French Onion soup, which should go down well with a glass of Spanish Carchelo Monastrell, a terrific red for $8 per glass, $27 a bottle. Top it off with Italian plum galette served warm with vanilla bean ice cream for $8.
