These two people didn't really get married. They just pretended to tie the knot, because it's the best way of showing you exactly what your wedding day can be like.

Practice makes perfect, right?

The Wedding Preview Event is all about putting couples in front of simulated ceremonies—and lots of fabulous vendors—so they can visualize and actualize their own dream day.

On Sunday, October 14 beginning at 5:45 the Seattle Design Center in Georgetown, you can watch staged weddings, try some bites and desserts, mix it up with mixologists and booze folks, and formulate your plan for pulling off the best of all those worlds.

The minds and hands of those who created the theater-like faux ceremonies will be in the house, so by the time the food trucks circle up outside for the farewell, you'll have not just ideas but business cards, phone numbers, handshakes, and solid ideas about making it all work.

Tickets start at $15, but we're giving away a free pair right here.

Email info @ seattlemetbrideandgroom.com by Friday at noon, at which time we will randomly select a winner.

The subject line of your email MUST say Wedding Preview Event, and the body must include your email address and phone number. One entry per person please.

Heads up: Tickets must be redeemed before the event—they are not available via will call. Don't worry, we'll walk you through all of it.
