Continuing our countdown until Get Hitched Give Hope, reason #2 you can't miss this year's gorgeous, vendor-filled bash: It's better than going to France.
And easier than time travel, too.
The vibe of the 6th annual GHGH is Art Deco in the City of Lights; Edith Piaf through the gramophone and Lillet in fancy crystal. Get ready to be transported—and inspired.
The whole joint will be adorned with wonderfully worn-in romantic decor elements and carefully chosen accents to evoke the iconic streets and grand halls of the oft-referenced city.
A sort of pop-up shop in the style of a Parisian market will come to life courtesy several key vendors like Anne Bradfield of Floressence Design, who's building an interactive flower cart that'll be part Ballard Ave and part Marches aux Puces.
And in lieu of Ms. Piaf herself, the Seattle band Rouge will play French cafe music as you dance, deal, and dine the night away.
