WHERE: Melrose Market's Marigold and Mint
WHAT: Racking your brain about what to be for Halloween? Flower shop Marigold and Mint is here to help with a do-it-yourself mask-making class just in time for trick-or-treating.
Since everyone is probably going as Katniss from the Hunger Games, shake it up and dress as Effie Trinket instead—an elaborate mask is just what you need to pull off that Capitol look. Forest nymph, masked gardener, flower-power vampire—whatever your costume, a DIY mask makes an impressive accessory.
Marigold and Mint provides all the feathers, flowers, and leaves you'll need to create the perfect Halloween disguise, and artist Izzie Klingels and florist Katherine Anderson will be available to lend a creative hand.
WHEN: The workshop is a two-night affair on Friday, October 28 from 6 to 8 and Sunday the 28th from 11 to 2. Tickets are $30 for adults, $15 for children. Contact the shop at 206-682-3111 or firstname.lastname@example.org for reservations.
