WHERE: Creature

WHAT: The folks at the local ad and design agency certainly aren't short on creativity, and they bust out their retail chops (pun intended) again this holiday season with a butcher-themed record store, Elpee's Beat Shop. The unique space sells vinyl by the pound—"Choice Cuts" for $1.46 per pound and "Prime Beats" for $1.03—wrapping and tying it in brown paper just like the good old days.

As with Creature's past storefront concepts, these beats won't be around for long, so get 'em while they're fresh.

WHEN: Monday through Friday from 9 to 4 through mid January; Saturday, December 21 and Saturday, January 4 and 11 from 10 to 3.
