Move over DVF and Marc by Marc Jacobs—no really, move over. Like, to a different department—Nordstrom's Savvy section is making room for new lines, at more accessible prices.
The Seattle-based retailer is revamping its cutting-edge Savvy department to include new of-the-moment brands and styles. "We learned a lot from our partnership with TopShop and are trying to move faster in delivering more trend-relevant brands at accessible prices. It’s not an overall company shift, but we did want to give customers a chance to shop more of their favorite styles," explains fashion PR specialist Kelly Skahan.
New brands include MinkPink, ASTR, Mural, and Viva Vena (Vena Cava's diffusion line), all priced under $100. Sadly, TopShop looks won't be arriving downtown; the Brit-brand will still be available online and at the Southcenter shop-in-shop only.
Former Savvy staples like Haute Hippie and Rebecca Minkoff aren't going anywhere, they've just found new homes in departments throughout the store.
