Nordstrom Rack's newest location opens at Northgate Mall this Thursday, November 8. The retailer takes over the 42,000-square-foot space—roughly the same size as the new downtown Rack—formerly occupied by Toys R Us. As a sort of housewarming, the discount destination is hosting a morning of opening festivities including free gifts, a treasure hunt, and a chance to win a $2,000 shopping spree.

To start, the first 1,000 people to make a purchase at the new store will receive a complimentary Nordstrom Rack tote bag. Up for more of a challenge? Twenty emerald hangers will be hidden throughout the store; find one and redeem it for $100 worth of merchandise (only one hanger per customer, though). One lucky shopper will win a chance to race through the store on a 90-second, $2,000 shopping spree. The winner will be announced at 8:30 the morning of the opening, so get there early to drop your name in the hat.

Grand opening festivities start early at 7 on November 8. Regular store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 to 9:30 and Sunday from 11 to 7.
